Job Aid (Infographic)

  • Overview : This job aid delivers real-time performance support for conflict resolution. Center Directors can reference it whenever a conflict arises, ensuring they follow a structured and consistent approach. The infographic clarifies when to use each strategy and guides users to select the most appropriate response based on the situation. This promotes alignment, consistency, and effectiveness across the organization.


  • Process: I conducted interviews with teammates and managers to identify key challenges within the department discourse and collaborated with a subject matter expert from the company’s training team to determine the desired conflict-resolution strategies. Using this information, I developed an infographic that outlines the recommended steps for effective conflict resolution.


  • Outcome: 5% Reduction in formal staff grievances against managers for “ disrespectful communication”.

Explainer Video – Self-Awareness (Module Introduction)

Overview

This asset is a short explainer video introducing the concept of self-awareness as part of a larger Emotional Intelligence course. The video breaks down the core components of self-awareness in a simple, engaging way, helping learners understand why it is the foundation of emotional intelligence and how it connects to the rest of the module.


Purpose / Audience

The video is designed for employees and managers who are developing their emotional intelligence skills. Its purpose is to provide a clear, accessible introduction that prepares learners for deeper exploration of self-awareness throughout the module.


Process

I began by outlining the key learning objectives for the Emotional Intelligence module and identifying where learners commonly struggle with understanding self-awareness. Using that foundation, I drafted a concise narrative script and storyboard. I then used animation and visual storytelling to illustrate concepts such as recognizing emotions, understanding triggers, and reflecting on behaviors.


Outcome

The final video provides a clear, engaging starting point for learners, helping them build a strong conceptual foundation before moving into practice activities and assessments. It increases learner readiness, supports comprehension, and enhances the overall flow of the Emotional Intelligence module.
